Owner
As the owner of GTD, Griffin brings extensive experience in audio-visual systems design, integration, and engineering. With a proven background in broadcast production and live event technology, he has designed and implemented numerous systems for The Savannah Bananas, including their custom mobile broadcast unit and touring production setup.
As the Bananas’ Broadcast Engineer, Griffin traveled nationwide, ensuring reliable, high-quality live broadcasts in a fast-paced environment. His expertise extends beyond broadcast into audio and lighting system design, where his work has enhanced the worship and production experiences of large churches and venues throughout the Savannah area. Known for his insight and problem-solving mindset, Griffin approaches every project with a commitment to excellence and innovation.
Garrett Edwards
Head of Technical Sales
Garrett Edwards is the Head of Technical Sales at Griffin Technical Designs (GTD), bringing a lifelong passion for production, technology, and service into every client relationship. He began volunteering in church production at 14 and, by 18, was leading Sunday morning production—making calls in the field and supporting live services week after week.
Through years of hands-on experience, Garrett developed a deep understanding of the technical and operational challenges faced by production teams. He quickly recognized how costly and complex professional production and broadcast systems can be, and built a mission around helping organizations make smart, sustainable technology decisions.
Today, Garrett combines his real-world production background with professional audiovisual and broadcast equipment sales, systems consulting, and integration support at GTD. He works with churches, sports organizations, venues, and commercial clients to design practical solutions, source reliable equipment, and steward budgets wisely, without compromising performance or long-term reliability.
Garrett is a devoted husband and father, and when he’s not in the office you’ll most often find him at home with his family.
