BEFORE
AFTER
When Relentless Church began preparing an existing church facility for their next chapter, Griffin Technical Designs was brought in to help support several key production elements throughout the space.
Our scope focused on three areas: lighting, projection, and the cabling infrastructure behind it all.
Building on an Existing Space
Working within an existing building is different from starting with a blank slate. Infrastructure, pathways, equipment locations, and the needs of the new organization all have to be considered while determining what can be reused and what needs to change.
For Relentless Church, our team worked to help adapt the space to better support their production needs while building on the infrastructure already in place.
Lighting for the New Space
Lighting plays a major role in both the in-room experience and how a service looks on camera.
As part of the transformation, GTD worked on the lighting systems within the space, helping Relentless Church establish a setup that better supported the way they planned to use the room.
The goal wasn’t simply to add equipment. It was to make sure the lighting worked as part of the overall production environment and gave their team the flexibility they needed moving forward.
Projection & Visuals
We also handled the projection portion of the project, helping create a visual system that could support lyrics, presentation content, graphics, and other elements used throughout services and events.
Projection can be one of the most visible parts of an AV system, but making it work reliably depends heavily on everything happening behind the scenes.
That brings us to one of the most important pieces of the project.
The Infrastructure Behind It All
A large part of our work at Relentless Church was the cabling and production infrastructure connecting the different systems throughout the building.
It isn’t necessarily the part of an installation that gets noticed when someone walks into the room, but good infrastructure is what allows the visible technology to work reliably.
Planning and installing the proper cabling provides a foundation for the systems being installed today while also making future upgrades, service, and expansion easier.
For an existing facility being adapted for a new organization, getting that foundation right is especially important.
Project Complete
With our portion of the project now completed and closed out, it has been exciting to see the transformation of the space from where it started.
We’re proud to have played a part in helping Relentless Church prepare their new facility through lighting, projection, and the production infrastructure connecting it all.
At Griffin Technical Designs, we work with churches and organizations to design, install, upgrade, and support production technology—from the equipment everyone sees to the infrastructure behind the walls that makes everything work.
If you’re renovating an existing facility, moving into a new space, or looking to upgrade part of your production system, we’d love to help.
